Listen to The Book Of Knots and their album Traineater. For fans of Tom Waits, Mike Watt, Bjork, PJ Harvey and lots of other funky stuff.

Oh and Akron/Family as well. Probably one of my favorite bands right now. Listen to the album they did with Angels of Light as well.

So, let's get this thing up shall we? um, okay. Well where we've been......We lost our amazing bass player, Gary "ECM Casings" Rugula. When he first started jamming with us a year and a half ago, he also had made some commitments to a small band called Crash Parallel, who up until now had been pretty dormant, so it really didn't affect us at all. Now the band has a huge Sony BMG recording contract and is touring Canada promoting their debut album "World We Know" and the single of the same name. We are super excited for him and wish him the best of luck!

However, that leaves us minus a member. We have been forced to cancel most of our existing shows (sorry every promoter we pissed off) but we are still moving ahead with full steam. We are currently in the studio demoing new tracks with Dan Weston the brilliant producer behind Attack in Black's debut album Marriage. We are super excited about these recordings and will hopefully have them up ASAP. They are completely different then our Ep, so might be a little bit of a surprise. But surprises are fun. We are also doing a mellow acoustic track with Mike Lobel, old friend, secret fifth member, and borderline genius. So thats fun too. Hope to get it all up soon.

We also so far only have one show booked and confirmed this whole summer. We couldn't miss out on this one. We are playing the third day of this awesome free outdoor music festival in Mississagua, ON, with Spiral Beach, and This is Picture. We are getting huge help from Liam Harasym of The Imports who is lending his bass talents for the show. anyways, thats that......right. I always end these things so awkwardly for some reason.
